The siding is finished. Now for the posts on the front porch, the railing, the landscaping, the back deck, the outlets and electrical fixtures, the HVAC hook up, the plumbing fixtures, carpet, hardwood, and...applainces.
(plus whatever else I've forgotten)

Not bad for my first dance if I don't say so myself!

The Deck Area

The deck will nestle in this corner with both doors opening onto the deck. Stairs will go down on the right hand side. The deck will be as close as possible to interior floor level.

This side door opens up from the nursery/study off the back of the master bedroom.
This wall is approximately 12'.

This door opens to the Laundry Area which flows into the Kitchen.
This wall is approximately 13'.

The Outside is coming along

The siding is going on!!
The 2x6 at the top of the vinyl will get wrapped with white metal/vinyl and then white board and batten siding will go in the gable.

Micro Hood Vent

The line on the right is at the upper edge of the cabinets and the venting is several inches proud of that line.

On the right side the venting is flanked by a 2x4 and on the left side by the wire for the microhood.
from the face of the current 90 to the front of the wall is approximately 3 inches
The full depth of the wall in nearly 5" thick (the depth of a 2x4, the OSB sheathing, and the sheetrock).

Below is a rough sketch of the proposed periscope.
